Many Haitian and Dominican Republic children and families struggle every day with serious problems. They may face:
What happens when hope and basic needs are both out of reach?
Loving Hands United was founded in 2019 when a small group of compassionate friends recognized the urgent need for a safe, loving home for orphaned and vulnerable children in Haiti. Deeply moved by the hardships many children and families were facing, we came together with a shared mission: to provide more than just shelter, but a place where children could experience stability, care, encouragement, and the warmth of family.
What began as a simple act of compassion quickly grew into a community-centered ministry dedicated to restoring hope and changing lives. Through daily care, nutritious meals, educational support, mentorship, and emotional encouragement, Loving Hands United has worked to give children the opportunity to grow in a safe and nurturing environment where they can dream about a brighter future.
We give orphaned children a safe place to live, nutritious meals, education, and emotional support. We also reach out to families in need, helping with food, clean water, and basic supplies in Haitian/Dominican communities.
We offer a caring and safe home for children who have lost their families or have nowhere else to go.
We make sure children have healthy meals every day so they can grow strong and stay healthy.
We help children go to school and learn new skills for a brighter future.
We organize mission trips that bring volunteers to serve children and Haitian communities as well as the Bateys in Dominican Republic through care and outreach.
We’re focused on delivering meaningful results for the people we serve. This is what we’ve delivered for our community.
