Many Haitian and Dominican Republic children and families struggle every day with serious problems. They may face:

• No safe place to live
• Lack of clean water or food
• Medical care that is hard to find or afford
• Kids growing up without parents or support

What happens when hope and basic needs are both out of reach?

Loving Hands United was founded in 2019 when a small group of compassionate friends recognized the urgent need for a safe, loving home for orphaned and vulnerable children in Haiti. Deeply moved by the hardships many children and families were facing, we came together with a shared mission: to provide more than just shelter, but a place where children could experience stability, care, encouragement, and the warmth of family.

What began as a simple act of compassion quickly grew into a community-centered ministry dedicated to restoring hope and changing lives. Through daily care, nutritious meals, educational support, mentorship, and emotional encouragement, Loving Hands United has worked to give children the opportunity to grow in a safe and nurturing environment where they can dream about a brighter future.
